Please note in peak season (in summer) all bookings are usually on a weekly basis (so minimum stay is 7 days) with saturday as changeover day. In low season, we can be more flexible. Please contact us for flexible arrival/departure date or time.

Booking deposit

All bookings are confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of 30% of the total accommodation rental cost (including services cost). The deposit is due at the reservation time.

This deposit is non-refundable in case of a cancellation by the tenant less than 8 weeks (2 months) before arrival. It is refundable otherwise.

The different payment options are as follows :

  1. bank cheque in Euros (only for french residents),
  2. or online secure payment (with credit/debit card or account) via PayPal (+3.9% extra charge),
  3. or bank transfer (all banking charge is your responsability).

Balance payment

The balance is to be paid upon arrival :

  • by bank cheque in Euros (only for french residents),
  • or in cash in Euros.

No other balance payment will be accepted upon arrival.

Security deposit

A refundable security deposit to guarantee the apartment of any kind of damage is to be paid upon arrival the first day of the stay by the tenant.

The sum paid will NOT be banked by the owner and held until the end of the renting, at which time the owner shall be at liberty to deduct such sums as may be incurred in respect of any damage occasioned to the apartment, its contents or grounds by the tenant or any of his/her party or guests.

Such deposit is payable without prejudice to the right to make a claim in respect of any damage occasioned to the apartment or its contents by reason of any act or default on the part of the tenant, his/her party or guests amounting to any sum greater than the security deposit levied.

At the end of the renting and before departure the tenant shall inspect the contents of the property and note, in writing, any damage and/or losses. The owner will deduct the corresponding amount to repair damage or replace lost or broken items from the security deposit.

In the event of the tenant leaving the apartment without checking for any damage and/or loss, the owner shall carry out such a check and note any losses or breakages. The owner shall deduct the corresponding amount to repair damage or replace lost or broken items from the security deposit.

In the event that the cost of repair/replacement exceeds the amount of the damage deposit, the tenant shall pay in full the difference between this total cost and the security deposit.

So, this damage deposit is refundable upon departure (often) or 10 days later (rarely) when house is found in faultless condition

The amount of the deposit is €300 for ATRIBORD (Antibes) apartment.

This deposit can be paid :

  • by bank cheque in Euros (€) for french residents
  • in cash only for foreign residents

No other balance payment will be accepted upon arrival.

For all people who are not residents in E.U. (European Union) so they are not situated in the Euro area, they could pay this deposit in cash in their own country currency, so they do not need to pay twice bank charges for the currency conversion to/from Euros. It is the responsability of the tenant to correctly calculate the amount in cash of such deposit in their own currency upon the conversion rate fixed the closer day of his arrival.

It is the only way we have considered to, on one hand, secure this deposit payment for us with foreign people who can rent short stays, and on the other hand, to minimize bank charges for the tenant. Thank you for your understanding.
